Description

Niladri Adhikary is a Double Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Student at the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands currently studying Applied Mathematics and Technical Computer Science with a strong personal focus on Algorithm Optimisation, High Performance Computing and Analysis of Software Systems.
Additionally, he serves as the Candidate Board External/Internal Affairs and Co-Founder for the future Study Assocation The Competitive Programming Archives (TCPA) along with being a Reviewer for the Journal of Open Source Software (JOSS).
Competitive Programmer by passion, he serves as Team Member for (() => {})(); (pronounced: “arrow-function”) representing University of Twente.

Background

As previously interning at Amazon Europe and Luxtrust SA. in Luxembourg, creating various Free & Open (in terms of freedom) Source Projects – when combined with his studies – Niladri Adhikary has demonstrated competencies accross various verticals including but not limited to Data Structures and Optimised Algorithms, Pure Mathematica, Code Architechture Analysis and Data Analysis.

Though professional, there are yet gaps in knowledge, which are aimed to be filled over the course of his life. Niladri seeks to offer a delicate balance between human (non-artificial-probabalistically-generated) contribution and human speech, art or thought. One of the biggest incentives he pursues is to ensure that Free Software has the ability to be shown to the general public to contrast the mass of closed-source software without the use of data-abusing advertisment, profiling, KYC, etc.

As Co-Founder and External/Internal Affairs of Study Association TCPA, he aims to promote learning, thought and collaboration between Coaches, Teachers and Student Teams in the fields of Competitive Programming, Hackathons, CTFs & Ethical Hacking, Game Development and Robotics. Great appreciation is found in not judging people by their titles or grades, but of how they think, percieve and solve real problems which either someone encountered in their life, or perhaps they help solve. This is community.
